Please keep in mind that on a Windows 10 machine, Documents and Settings is a Junction Point for the Users folder.

That being said, the same Google tutorial also says to check the following locations:

C:Users%username%AppDataLocal

C:Users%username%AppDataLocalLowGoogleGoogleEarth

Google Earth is a virtual globe, map and geographical information program that was originally called EarthViewer 3D created by Keyhole, Inc, a Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) funded company acquired by Google in 2004 (see In-Q-Tel). The degree of resolution available is based somewhat on the points of interest and popularity, but most land (except for some islands) is covered in at least 15 meters of resolution.
